MOTORCYCLE RESTORATION PROJECT TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to all restoration, rebuild, repair, detailing, fabrication, modification, customisation and related services undertaken by Pro Motorcycle Detailing & Restoration Ltd.
- ESTIMATES & QUOTATIONS
1.1 All quotations provided are estimates based upon the visible condition of the motorcycle and information available at the time of inspection.
1.2 Restoration projects frequently uncover hidden defects, corrosion, wear, damage, previous repairs, missing components or other issues that are not visible during the initial assessment.
1.3 Any additional work identified during the project will be discussed with the customer before proceeding wherever reasonably practicable.
1.4 Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing.
- DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
2.1 A deposit is required before any work commences. The deposit amount will be agreed prior to the start of the project.
2.2 The deposit secures workshop time, project planning, administration and parts procurement and is therefore non-refundable once work has commenced or parts have been ordered.
2.3 Parts required for the project may require payment in advance at the Company’s discretion.
2.4 Progress payments may be requested during long-term restoration projects to cover completed labour and supplied parts.
2.5 Additional work identified after project commencement will be discussed with the customer and charged separately upon approval.
2.6 Full payment of all outstanding balances must be made before the motorcycle is released to the customer.
2.7 The Company reserves the right to pause or suspend work where agreed payments are not received.

• Circumstances beyond the Company’s control
3.3 No guaranteed completion date is provided unless expressly agreed in writing.
3.4 The Company reserves the right to recommend alternative parts or solutions if original parts become unavailable.
- CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PARTS
4.1 Customer-supplied parts are fitted entirely at the customer’s risk.
4.2 The Company accepts no liability for defective, incorrect, incompatible or poor-quality customer-supplied parts.
4.3 Additional labour charges may apply where customer-supplied parts require modification or create installation difficulties.
- USED, VINTAGE & CLASSIC MOTORCYCLES
5.1 Restoration work is carried out on motorcycles that may contain hidden defects due to age, previous repairs or wear.
5.2 The Company cannot guarantee the condition, reliability or lifespan of existing engines, gearboxes, electrical systems, frames, fuel systems or previously repaired components.
5.3 Restoration work improves the condition of the motorcycle but does not necessarily return it to factory-new condition unless expressly agreed in writing.
- PARTS AVAILABILITY
6.1 Restoration projects are dependent upon the availability of suitable replacement parts.
6.2 The Company accepts no responsibility for supplier delays, discontinued parts, shipping delays or manufacturing defects.
6.3 Parts prices may change without notice due to supplier increases and market conditions.
- CUSTOM WORK
7.1 Custom fabrication, paintwork, modifications and bespoke builds are produced according to customer requirements.
7.2 Once approved and completed, custom work is non-refundable.
7.3 Minor variations in colour, finish, fabrication and appearance may occur and are considered normal due to the bespoke nature of the work.

8.1 Customers must collect completed motorcycles within 14 days of notification that work is complete.
8.2 Storage charges may be applied to motorcycles remaining on-site after this period.
8.3 The Company reserves the right to retain possession of any motorcycle until all outstanding invoices and charges have been paid in full.
